By tying Prisma Cloud asset context to identity access, the integration helps security teams surface the identities that pose the most immediate risk, not merely by their permissions, but by the actual sensitivity and exposure of the resources they can reach.

This capability gives organizations a consolidated view of identity-to-asset relationships so teams can act on the highest-impact remediation tasks first.

What the integration enables

Vulnerability correlation 
IAMAnalyzer will flag users and service principals that have access to resources Prisma Cloud classifies with critical or high-severity vulnerabilities, helping teams target identities that create the largest attack chains.

Exposure mapping 
Detect identities with either direct or transitive reach to internet-facing assets, so teams can reduce externally reachable attack paths and limit potential impact.

Ghost access detection 
Reveal identities that still retain privileges to deleted, retired, or otherwise orphaned resources, removing lingering access that often goes unnoticed.

DSPM-based risk enrichment 
Identity risk scores will be adjusted upward when the associated resources contain sensitive data types such as PII, PHI, financial records, or stored credentials/secrets, ensuring sensitive-access paths are visible immediately.
